Rep. Isabel Salcido is running for reelection to District 5.
As of her 30-day financial disclosure, she raised 99.79% of her campaign funds from outside District 5, all but $200. See the attached mailer from El Pasoans for Truth and Transparency.
Salcido does not represent the people of District 5.
She represents her wealthy donors from the Upper Valley and Coronado who have contributed more than $100,000 to her campaign.
She stands for absolutely nothing except for their private agenda, as evidenced by her embarrassing tax-and-spend voting record.
Rep. Claudia Rodriguez of District 6 raised most of her campaign funds from the same donors.
Given their donor base, shouldn’t Salcido and Rodriguez be running for District 1?
