Sara Sanchez of El Paso Inc published a report on the City’s latest arena feasibility study for which she interviewed Cindy Ramos-Davidson, CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

According to Sanchez, Ramos-Davidson “said the chamber polled their members and found overwhelming support for the project 10 years ago, but that it has cooled as the years have gone by and costs have gone up. She said support among business may have shifted to a smaller venue due to the rising cost.”

I have always wondered how it is that an organization representing the interests of Hispanic businesses has supported the displacement of Hispanic people and the destruction of a Hispanic barrio.

Enjoy your day.
