Carlos Sanchez of Telemundo 48 authored an amazing report on the culture of the Segundo Barrio. He and Osvaldo Velez of the organization “Conscious Barrio” toured the neighborhood on bicycle with a cameraman.
From the standpoint of content and editing, it is the best local television report I have ever seen on the neighborhood. The sequences are beautifully executed, with highly creative B-roll and wonderful music. I especially love the coverage of the historic murals! Clearly, a lot of time and effort were put into this seven-minute segment, which is meticulous, and I hope it gets submitted for a Lone Star Emmy!
Kudos to Sanchez and Telemundo for their achievement!
