Dear Friends,
The recent restoration of the Trost-designed Stevens Residence, which was acquired by Vicki and Steven Harder 13 months ago for $70,000 and sold for $212,500 only four days after they listed it, was nicely covered by David Crowder in the current issue of El Paso Inc and by Gabrielle Caracciolo in her report for KFOX14. Jim Tolbert made the restoration the topic of his recent blog post for Celebration of our Mountains. Between the Facebook pages of The Trost Society and the El Paso History Alliance, which have more than 64,000 followers combined, there were more than 6,400 views.
Many thanks to Mr. Crowder, Ms. Caracciolo and Mr. Tolbert for bringing this beautiful restoration project to the attention of the general public.
One more big FECILIDADES to the Harders for their exceptional achievement. We look forward to learning about their next historic preservation project!
Have a great Sunday.
