The audio from Saturday’s meeting of the State Board of Review of the Texas Historical Commission is now online here. Item 6 concerns the County’s nomination of Downtown El Paso to the National Register of Historic Places.
The meeting begins with THC Executive Director Mark Wolfe announcing the lawsuit by a group El Paso developers. That is followed by Greg Smith’s presentation of the nomination. Public comment begins with Paul Foster.
The Board voted unanimously to advance the nomination to the National Park Service.
