At today’s City Council meeting, under agenda item 19, an attempt will be made by Rep. Cassandra Hernandez and her allies to override the Mayor’s veto of $96 million of certificates of obligation. That is debt issued without voter approval. If the veto fails, we will have more than $730M in outstanding CO debt, which is totally obscene from any standpoint.
Here is how you can call in to support the Mayor’s veto.

2. Scroll down to the empty boxes to fill in. Enter today’s date in the first box. The item# is 19. Add your name, address and email address. Click the circle to speak “Against” overriding the veto. Click “Send!” at the bottom right.
3. The meeting starts at 9:00am this morning. You can follow it at either of these links:
