We are pleased to announce that the National Fund for Sacred Places has awarded a matching grant of $250,000 for the restoration of Sacred Heart Church, the most iconic building in the Segundo Barrio.
Our group Restore Sacred Heart Church will hold a press conference today at 3:15pm in Padre Pinto Plaza, on the north side of Father Rahm Ave. between Oregon St. and Mesa St.
Fr. Rafael Garcia and I, along with Bishop Mark Seitz and other members of our Executive Committee and Advisory Council, will be in attendance.

This is great news for the Segundo Barrio and for the cause of historic preservation in El Paso!
