Former State Sen. Jose Rodriguez and I represent West Texas on the Board of Directors of Preservation Texas, a nonprofit based in San Marcos, Texas.
Tomorrow, April 1 at 10:05am we will be joined by our Executive Director, Evan Thompson, as guests on the El Paso History Radio Show with host Andrew J. Polk.
For two hours we will discuss the soon-to-be established West Texas Regional Office of Preservation Texas, which will be located in El Paso and serve nine West Texas Counties.
The Trost Society will be dissolved and the West Texas Regional Office will take over all its functions later this year, with a greatly expanded mission to support historic preservation efforts in our community.
