Aaron Montes of the El Paso Times Reports:
“The coronavirus pandemic has taken its first casualty in El Paso’s economic development plan: Great Wolf Resorts reportedly has dropped plans to come to the city. Great Wolf Resorts reportedly is set to pull out of an agreement with the city of El Paso to build a resort in the Northwest part of the city, according to a city staff email.
[…] A representative with the city’s Economic and International Development Department says in the email that Great Wolf Lodge is terminating its Chapter 380 and 381 economic development agreements with the city and the county as they ‘re-prioritize future expansion plans.'”
And so dies one of the worst deals the City and County ever signed. See my email below from November 2018.
