Today at 1:00pm on his Facebook page, Aaron Montes will officially announce his candidacy for City Representative of District 7, challenging incumbent Henry Rivera.
Mr. Rivera has a real problem on his hands, as Aaron stands firmly with the people and their interests rather than the interests of only a dozen local families. And no, his wife’s chairmanship of the El Paso County Democratic Party is not going to help.
Aaron’s experience as a journalist for all three local newspapers means that he is exceptionally knowledgeable about the issues of our day and that he understands perfectly what he is up against.
Aaron has earned my absolute loyalty and support.
