KFOX 14 reported last night that City Rep. Claudia Lizette Rodriguez is donating nearly $12,000 from her discretionary fund, normally used for staffing and other costs, to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger on behalf of District 6. She will donate the check in person and then volunteer with the organization for a full day.
My understanding is that City Council will need to vote to approve the donation.
