Much less than 1% of El Paso adults care to subscribe to our daily newspaper, which has only 3,587 print subscribers and 224 digital subscribers as of July 25, 2025.

That is a catastrophic drop of 13.6% from the previous year.

Of course, the paper reports less and less on local politics and more and more on celebrity sightings, restaurant inspection scores, and shopping bargains.

There are only a handful of reporters still employed and there is no longer an office headquarters.

Meanwhile, the voting public is less informed every year and increasingly supports politicians who undermine them financially.

That is why we formed the El Paso Taxpayer Revolt, to fill in the gaping hole left by the El Paso Times and other legacy media that refuse to report news that matters.
