At Rep. Lily Limón‘s District 7 end-of-year community forum three days ago, Mayor Renard Johnson told the crowd he would lower our property tax.

This was followed by a polite burst of applause.

But then he quickly added that it will happen only after new business comes to El Paso, and the room fell silent.

Really, Mr. Mayor?

In his social media post bragging about the meeting, the Mayor told District 7 residents that they can look forward to new pickle ball courts.

Oh, joy!
