Yesterday City Rep. Lily Limón was the sole dissenter in the 7-1 vote to proceed with a MOU in support of the Debt Plaza:
“This gives the taxpayers a message that we are willing to gamble their hard-earned money on something that needs a miracle to work.”
Rep. Limon is a Democrat and the most conservative voter on City Council when it comes to fiscal matters.
We applaud her on her principled position against the biggest boondoggle since the Arena.
