We just learned that Jeremy Jordan, the husband of City Rep. Cassandra Hernandez, is accused of aggravated assault, which is a felony. The incident occurred on October 22, the second day of early voting for the November 5 General Election.

Jordan was booked and posted a bond of $1,000 on November 8.

The case number is 2024-PFILE11539.

This is not Jordan’s first brush with the law. He was arrested and charged in December 2015 on suspicion of assault family violence and criminal mischief, which resulted in his termination as legislative aide to City Rep. Cortney Niland of District 8. All charges were dismissed in April 2016.
