We are pleased to announce that not only is our dog Fluffy running for County Judge against the incumbent Ricardo Samaniego, but Miss Piggy is running for Commissioner of Precinct 4 against Sergio Coronado!
They share the same campaign platform:
- They will never vote for a tax increase.
- They will never vote for a certificate of obligation or tax note.
- They will never vote to support any project that should be funded by the private sector.
- They will demand that Samaniego, Stout, and Coronado, who voted to spend $1 million on the Deck Plaza, reimburse the County by refusing their salaries for the next 29 months.
- They will demand that all members of the Commissioners Court be paid what they earned when first assuming office.
- They will never advocate for any political issue that is not within their purview.
- They will never accept campaign contributions from developers who have been awarded a County contract within the last 10 years.
- They will never support incentives for developers or contractors without including clawback provisions that are enforceable by contract.
- They will reduce the number of County employees by 5% through attrition over the next two fiscal years.
- They will open up bidding for County contracts to canines, cats, bunny rabbits, kangaroos, and pterodactyls.
Fluffy will be the “County Judge of the People” and Miss Piggy will be the anti-Coronado! They will work tirelessly to streamline County government and reduce wasteful spending.
Fluffy for County Judge!
Miss Piggy for Precinct 4!
