Dear Friends and Media,
Aaron Montes just announced on Facebook that he has left the El Paso Times.
I have followed Aaron’s career starting when he was at El Diario, and then at the Oligarchy Gazette.
After a couple years there, he was scooped up by the El Paso Times, who appointed him as an investigative reporter focusing on the City and County.
I don’t need to tell you how important Aaron has been to our community and we will all certainly miss his reports.
Aaron has left his job at the very height of his career, and apparently he has another announcement to make on Monday at 1:00pm on Facebook regarding his plans…
