A few minutes ago the agenda of the February 28 City Council meeting was posted online.
Reps. Kennedy of District 1 and Molinar of District 4 are co-sponsoring a item 23, which reads: “Discussion and action on the Employment Agreement between the City of El Paso and the City Manager.”
This is obviously an opportunity for our City Council to terminate the City Manager.
Yes, it will cost $1,000,000 to sever his contract, but given the immense financial cost of his actions during his eight and a half years in office, that is a great bargain.
Of course, the public is welcome to attend the meeting and provide comment under agenda item 23.
In the meantime, please write to the Mayor and City Council and urge that Tommy Gonzalez be terminated and replaced:
