Judge him by his friends.
Pro-Debt Plaza incumbent Art Fierro of District 6, according to item 17 of the current City Council agenda, recently accepted contributions of $2,500 from Woody Hunt and $500 from Dee and Adair Margo.
Fierro began his career on City Council with a series of courageous votes, opposing the construction of an arena in Union Plaza and supporting the termination of City Manager Tommy Gonzalez, but since then has become a loyal vassal of the developers and their bankers and attorneys.
He faces three challengers in the November 3 election.
