Dr. Sam Armijo and Arturo Alluin are the only serious candidates for City Council who have not benefited from a single penny of dark money.
According to Martin Paredes of El Paso News, Armijo’s opponent Alejandra Chavez has benefited from $40,700 of dark money, accounting for 30.3% of all funds expended on her campaign.
Paredes also reports that Alluin’s opponent Matthew Guzman benefited from $36,900 of dark money, accounting for 52.0% of all funds expended on his campaign.
Chavez and Guzman represent the moneyed elite, their special interests, and the invisible contributors financing their campaigns.
Armijo and Alluin are solid fiscal conservatives who stand firmly for the taxpayers of El Paso and we are proud to have endorsed them!
