City Rep. Alejandra Chavez of District 1 voted to increase our City property tax both years she has been in office: 5.2% for FY 2026 and 6.0% for FY 2027.
Mathematically, she has increased our tax 11.5% since assuming office.
She is pro-Arena and pro-Debt Plaza.
She is a standard tax-and-spend politician who is utterly incapable of managing large budgets.
